On the 9th July six students from Kingsbridge Community College came to the Mount Batten Centre in Plymouth to have their first experience of rowing in singles boats on the water. Although there was a lot for them to think about initially, the students quickly got to grips with the basics and were soon piloting the boats around the river and challenging each other to races.
