An unprecedented 350 young people with disabilities from across Devon descended on the Tarka Tennis in Barnstaple this week to take part in a Paralympic style celebration of sport as part of the national School Games programme.
Participants took part in rowing, football, tennis and cycling and represented schools from across the whole county. Over 40 young people from 9 schools took part in the rowing event. With the racing split into morning qualifiers and seeded finals after lunch, the afternoons racing was closer than ever.
