Seven students from Okehampton Community College took to the River Plym at the Mount Batten Centre at the start of the month. They had been hand picked from a group of students who have been attending indoor rowing sessions at the college throughout the year. All the students managed brilliantly and transferred their indoor skills onto the water well, even though the blustery conditions threatened to blow them all the way to France.
