Parasport aims to make it easier for members of the public to take up disability sport by providing information about sports and sporting opportunities in local areas.
Parasport is for everyone, regardless of whether you want to participate recreationally or competitively. Maybe you want to take up a sport in order to get active, or maybe you have ambitions of representing Great Britain... Whatever your aim, Parasport can help you.
As its their 5th birthday, we've added their sports selector widget to this site (its just down there on the right). Scroll down and click through the options to find out which sports might be right for you.
This is how it works:
- Use the buttons below that best describes your disability (e.g. visually impaired, amputee etc);
- Once you have your list of sports click on the headings and learn more about the sport;
