Yesterday saw a long trip North to Pathfield School in Barnstaple to bring rowing to the North Devon School Games. Taking place over 5 days, at 5 different venues and coinciding with the arrival of the Olympic flame in Barnstaple, the North Devon School Games was a showcase of sport open to all of the young people from each of the Special Schools in North Devon and to Key Stage 3 SEN young people at Mainstream schools across North Devon and Torridge. Students from PETROC Learning Support department were also invited to take part. With over 400 young people taking part in the week of sport the whole event was a great success.
